All buttoned up

I used to shop for flat girly shoes whenever I have the chance to go shopping, but lately I have not been a fan that much. The reason behind this is that flat shoes such as ballet flats tend to wear out easily. I have lots of shoes but you can just see me wearing 3 or more pairs. That’s why I switched to buying sneakers instead as it’s not just heaven to the feet but also usable for a long period of time. And you can never go wrong with sneakers! I must say, the shoes for (almost) all season!

And since I have always been a vintage afficionado, there’s always a detail/s in my outfit that got something to do with old-school style. Like  what I wore today for work, notice that my top was all buttoned up. Yay? I like it that way not just because of the vintage effect it brings to my outfit but also it creates a sexy, bony look for my shoulders.

Fashion Tip:

When you’re shopping for a top garment especially jacket, coat or blazer, pay attention to the fit around the shoulders. While a tailor can tweak pretty much everything about the fit of a jacket—from tapering the waist to shortening it—they can’t change the shoulders. Make sure the seams sit perfectly at the bony tops of your shoulders. –

Lastly! I have finally realized how important a tripod is! LOL. And one of the perks of being alone in the house? You can do whatever you please! And guess who took all the photos in this post? All Selfie! 😀

The movie about  the late fashion model Gia Carangi that I have watched on Christmas eve was too touchy that I couldn’t just get her off my mind. Not just her tragic death but I was totally inspired by her style and fashion, too! So… my outfit of the day was my own version of Gia’s  all buttoned up top, jeans and sneakers combo.  🙂

That’s it.

Good night, lovelies!
