“I don’t believe in aging. I believe in forever altering one’s aspect to the sun.”― Virginia Woolf
Because I’m so curious about (motion) picture like what I have mentioned in my previous diary post, today’s photos are more sequential, with a moving subject (not posing like what we typically do here). Also, my model is more comfortable with candid shots – and I guess looking better with this kind of picture?
I’m not a professional photographer but I think the secret to a perfect shot is to make your model feel comfortable during the process. As the photographer, I also think you should know how to find the right angle and when to capture it.
I like candid shots because of its natural effect. It gives life and serves as the voice of the image. That’s why as you notice I often publish my photos in full smile or include some BTS shots in every OOTD post I make. Never mind the huge gums. LOL.
This was shot last Saturday before my model got her one leg broken and arms full of scratches while struggling to do the penny board tricks. Proofs are below:
And because karma’s b!tch, I got my own dose of my medicine right after I laughed at her so hard – I got my feet and overflowing skirt wet when my stupid self didn’t see the watery, muddy hole behind me while I was so focused taking a good shot of the sunset! What a disaster! But funny and crazy day it was.
