her god was beauty

“She called herself an angel, and wandered the world from girlhood till death. She lived every kind of life and dreamt every kind of dream. She was wild in her wandering, a drop of free water. She believed only in her life and in her dreams. She called herself an angel, and her god was Beauty.”― Roman Payne

valentinesdayHi lovelies!

How are you? We have a very lovely weather for almost 2 weeks now. Still so cold but it doesn’t matter for as long as it’s not gloomy. A month more and I will be on my first year here in Germany. Just how time flies so fast! I’m almost one year here and I haven’t fully explored the town nor spoke in good Deutsch yet. But it’s okay, my classmates have been here for so long and yet they’re still in A1 Level, same as me. So?

The other day, we were dismissed 30 minutes early. While waiting for my wife, I had the chance to explore a bit. I have discovered a beautiful spot near our school that’s perfect for afternoon lounging, especially during summer. There were lots of pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. What I love most about the establishments here is they’re all vintage and beautiful. Once I get confident about my basic Deutsch, I will try one of these coffee shops one day. I wish they have a Wifi though, like most of the coffee shops in the Philippines.

And the photo below? Who would think it’s a hospital? Just plain beautiful.

And matching up to the vintage inspired establishments above, here’s what I wore –– featuring fashionable Argyle Stand Neck Solid Color Jacket and Mock Neck High Low Sweater from Zaful! Both items were enough to warm me up in this cold winter.
