“I respect kindness in human beings first of all, and kindness to animals. I don’t respect the law; I have a total irreverence for anything connected with society except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer.” ― Brendan Behan

So glad that it’s finally the last day of work! But it could have been more relaxing if home is clean and well organised! I’m really hoping that I could finally start cleaning our balcony, especially now that the days here in our place get more and more gorgeous every passing day. It would be lovely to sit outside with the view from our street while working and listening to good music.

Cleaning our balcony would be my own way of penitence this Holy Week. I’m not sure if I had mentioned this to you here, my dear Lovelies, but yours truly do not believe in religions. In fact, it’s been a while since the last time I visited a church. When I was in PH, I used to go to my favourite church but not to regularly attend a mass or listen to a homily. I don’t know what it’s called but every church has this small room where you can pray privately. That’s where I usually spend my time whenever I have the chance to visit a sacred place like church. I only do this to find a moment of peace and to pray for my loved ones. Another fact is I don’t usually pray for myself and I only pray whenever my loved one’s sort of lost their ways and need some guidance. I don’t believe in God but I do believe in good spirits, in kindness. I believe in what my elementary teacher once told us, “Keep putting out good. It will come back to you a thousand-fold in unexpected ways.” I also do believe in repentance. That’s why the penitence I am about to perform has nothing to do with religion. It’s only my way to punish myself and make up for the bad things I did.  I’m not against religions but I just dislike it when they limit and sometimes even influence a person’s perspective. I believe in living life to the fullest, without harming other people – mentally, physically and emotionally.

Anyways, before we get too serious here, let me share with you now what I wore last Sunny weekend. This beautiful Openwork Lace Fitted Dress is brought to you by Gamiss. I’m not into lacey clothing but this one was a great choice. In fact, an acquaintance asked me to purchase one for her but unfortunately, this dress is out of stock already.
